So, just did an awesome back...

Yes, it's the ongoing soap opera of:

    "As the Truck Backs"
    "The Bold and the Backing"
    "Guiding Lines"

    You pick... But I digress.

Great setup, plenty of room, only pulled up twice for rather minor adjustments... "Hey, I think I might be getting this!!!" ... Got out once to look (GOAL) ... Looked awesome, straight, and even.... Bumped the dock, rather softly too... Got out and chocked the wheels... Hopped back up into the cab feeling all warm and fuzzy inside... Smiling to myself as I glanced into the side mirrors...

    Yup, you guessed it,
I forgot to open the doors.

    ... DOH!!!

    Stay Safe My Friends,

It made me think of the time when I had my Camaro. I backed into a really tight space between two other cars. I was so happy. Then I realized I didn't even have enough space to open the door so I could get out. I had to go find another space to park.

Fueled, showered and ready to leave. I'll drop this half a load of mail at 10am, then home by 2pm. Our final pay for the year is tomorrow. Let's just say it was a very good year in Johnboys earnings category.

I had an experience at the Memphis Post Office yesterday, the woman loading my mail totes was a practicing Muslim, I'm cool with that. As I walked to the back of my trailer we made eye contact and smiled at each other. After going over the load, making small talk, we got into a pretty deep discussion about her adopted religion. She asked me if I was offended by her head scarf. Trying to be as politically correct as I could, I told her no, that my issue was not her head scarf or her new found religion, but only that my junk get loaded and me going home to my family. What I really wanted to say was as long as she wasn't packing a suicide bombing vest, that we were cool.
