I don't know why they would schedule you for orientation if they did not intend to hire you.

right now you're prehired.I don't know how thourogh usx is in checking backgrounds before they schedule an orientation date.some get sent home during orientation because there's stuff that was found that the recruiter failed to find before prehiring you.

I agree they intend to hire him, but people frequently get sent home when they get caught in a lie

Most carriers schedule orientation for 2 main reasons. The biggest reason is to get through the huge amount of paperwork in regard to your being hired. My last orientation I walked out of that hotel with almost an inch of paper not counting my employee handbook. The next reason is to get your physical and drug screen out of the way. No company is going to hire you officially till they get those results back. This is why they do the drug screens on the first day. It sometimes takes 72 or more hours to get these results back. As far as the other stuff goes most of the time by the time you get to orientation the carrier has verified the information on your application. Honestly most of the time when somebody gets sent home its because they either failed the physical or had a positive to come back on the drug screen. Sleep apnea is getting a lot of people now days. In fact I was talking to a friend over coffee yesterday before church. This friend was telling me of 2 people that got sent home last week because of their lack of a sleep study. If your over weight this can happen to you too.

It was a DOT physical for driving. US Express they have me scheduled me for orientation. I asked them if they checked my DAC and all my background stuff they said yes. Maybe The Western express DOT physical test which I failed was never reported? I really don't know.

I did us xpress wasn't a fan, a few people didn't make it though orientation I cant say if they failed the drug test or what.

you can see a copy of your DAC report online it might cost money idk, but it would be a good investment, because if it is on your DAC report at orientation youll be finding a way home.

I don't know if I would trust a recruiter saying that they cleared your dac cause the seemed to be doing all of that at the orientation.

Back that statement up with some facts. It's not illegal to falsify any document unless you have the intent to defraud, or if you perjure yourself with said falsification.

Are you a child? If someone is falsifying a form to gain employment when the conditions of employment are passing drug screens... and the false statements are specifically to get around the fact that they have indeed failed a drug screen would meet your own standard of "intent to defraud".. sheesh people....
