Sad story... About a year ago someone Iknew died from cancer. A day later his wife killed herself. It was rough on those left behind, but even the kids noted that it wasn't necessarily an irrational decision. Main thing about suicide are those left behind wondering what they could have done.

 

Sorry for both losses. However, I did try audio books by Terry Brooks and Orson Scott Card. I much prefer hard copies and will continue to listen to NPR til I can settle down w/ a good book.

 

AND I saved 15% by switching to GEICO!

 

Do you know if our satellite radio carries all the NPR stations? I miss WBUR. A bit to the left if my politics, but always interesting.

 

Not that I'm aware of, but I do like mornings and afternoon extras. Nothing leftist as its GLOBAL. I do enjoy the weekend shows...as long as it doesn't involve classical music or jazz!

 

What is up with jazz? I fancy myself a musician and only find disorder in the genre...genetic disadvantage or? I like my improve restricted to comedy...

 

Jazz is like classical. A thousand different genres. Frank Sinatra did a lot of Jazz. It's a giant genre, from dixieland to Miles Davis at his wierdest.

 

I live in Evansville and hadn't heard the story... very sad...
