And guys are still running that crap?
I always stuck to a minimum of .67/mi each IF I could fit 3 and IF they were going to a decent area to load back out of.
Pay rate per mile or flat rate for hauling new cargo vans, 3/4 and up new pickups on a stepdeck

I came back home across 70 through Mo. and must have passed about a dozen carriers with TWO vans on heading east, Also passed a bunch of 10 car stingers with Two vans on the trailer and two cars on the tractor, what a waste of equipment!
passingthru69, Dominion Transportation and Terry270 Thank this. -
Always wondered what they paid and thought it would pay well as a way to get loaded out of KC. Now that the hotshot guys with duallys are all over this type of work it really makes it difficult to get higher rates especially without the oil field work that used to keep some of these hotshotters busy and not add to the new van carrier capacity in a negative fashion.
