    Man I really appreciate all of this info! I know it's been a lot of questions but I appreciate you taking the time out to reply! I won't badger you with more questions but I do have 1 last question if you don't mind in your experience is it easier or harder to back up a tanker than a dry van or reefer? & are the spots you have to pull into or back into hard to get in or tight spaces? Thanks in advance. No more questions

    Tankers are easy to back up. Most of ours were 45' trailers. Can see better backing too because it's a long round tube instead of a big box.
    Some chemical plants are old with lots of pipework running everywhere, so you will see most tanker companies don't use condo tractors. Most use mid-roof and a few may use flat-tops.
    Ask as many questions as you want!

    If I choose to drive tankers & that's all I want to do. Later on in life if I decide to leave tankers & go to say...dry van. Do companies compare all experience the same? Like on apps they say 1 year verifiable tractor trailer experience. Does it matter if it's tankers or are they meaning dry van/ reefer

    Some tanker companies require previous tanker experience and some don't. Most trucking companies don't care what you drove as long as it's a tractor trailer.
