A reply to all haha. Yeah otr here sucks most definitely but I do keep moving and unlike most drivers here I talk to I pull in a "higher" pay than most as far as weiner goes. I know I'm getting robbed for the work I'm doing but either way I don't want to go over to Melton if the work isn't available you know? Yeah they pay a lot more and it definitely catches my eye but more pay doesn't mean jack if your production is down. And yeah I split loads like a muthaaa fukka haha I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone unless they wanted to do a dedicated dollar account as a trainer then alright but I have 0 business being a trainer for at least another 3-4 years nor the want to do so and screw the dollar accounts
Thinking about em. Don't wanna down grade

Only line of trucking work that will keep you in shape that I know of is the food service end like Hogan or Sysco do. Otherwise, you need to watch what you eat and take time to actually get some exercise.
You're doing the right thing asking about what's going on at Melton. Hope it works out for you.Bdogvandrvr Thanks this. -
Yeah I hear ya. Thank you

When I did Otr I would stop in at a planet fitness if possible. Become a black card member you can stop in at any pf.
Watch your diet. Buy a case of Poland Spring 24 pack a week. Drink at least 2 a day.
Avoid like the plague loves and pilots fried crap esp the pizza.
Bdogvandrvr and Sneakerfix Thank this. -
Staying in shape OTR isn't nearly as hard as people make it out to be. Just gotta have some discipline. Don't eat at truck stops/restaurants, buy healthy food at a Walmart (or whatever grocery store you can get to), and do calisthenics/walk/run around parking lots/towns whenever possible. I used to do just that and lost a few pounds in the 6 months I was otr.
