I have a 1994 t800 and it has all the wiring for the jake under the hood and in the dash but it doesn't seem to be hooked into the fuse box or something. Under the dash there is a blue connector(EW-10 on the bottom) that has 5 white wires(unmarked), white with black stripe (labeled P52AFC), brown wire (labeled L1P-A), and a green wire(unreadable). I was told this was the wires for the jake. When I turn the key on the w/b wire is hot and the green wire is hot. The 5 white wires are 3 inches long and not hooked to anything.
I think that the 5 white wires need to be tied in to the eng rtd relays in the bottom left corner of the fuse box.
Does anyone have any information on this and/or a wiring schematic for the 1994 t800? Thanks in advance.

What engine? Did you try googling for the diagram? They are out there.

It's a detroit 60 series 12.7L, sorry I forgot to add that. I did Google it. I can find schematics for the wiring on the motor from Detroit and I can find wiring schematic for the control wiring part in the truck. What I can't find is how that system ties into the truck wiring. I need a schematic for the t800 to see how it's supposed to be hooked up.

Does your S60 have jakes installed?
-
Yes it does. I've had the valve cover off and I've ohmed the coils, I don't remember the reading but they were all in spec. The wires come out of the back of the head and run into the left too side of the ecm, white wires if I recall.

Someone told me I could find a body builder manual that would have the wireing schematics that I need possibly I can't seem to find one for a 1994 t800 though. Is there somewhere else I can go for more information or someone I could call.
I can unhook the whole system from the trucks wiring harness under the dash and rewire it so it's not integrated with the truck but that's a lot of extra work.
Someone told me that the truck came with everything for the jake but if you didn't pay for the option when you bought the truck they would leave it disconnected from the truck. I don't know how true that is.
Or if someone has a 1994 t800 with a s60 with Jake they could send me a picture of where these wires go.
I know it's the holidays but I was just wondering if anyone was going to be able to help me here or if I need to try to find another source of info. Thanks again. -
Links,
Get the last 8 of your serial number, and call your local Kenworth dealership. I know where I am they are very helpful. They have always emailed or faxed me the sheets with the schematics that I needed. Being the truck has an ecm, want to take care that you read the schematic correctly, and don't short any of the wires. -
I have talked to the dealership already. They used to be very helpful in this manner but they recently got bought out and fired half the staff. They looked it up and said that since the truck wasn't purchased with the jake brake option it wouldn't be on the schematics for it. The guy wouldn't let me see the schematic at all. I asked him to try to change one number in the Vin and see if he could find a 1994 t800 that had the jake option and he wouldn't even do that. Needless to say I won't be going back, been going there for years and have never had a problem. I guess I can try to call around to the next closest dealership and see if they can help me at all. Thanks for the help.

Most of the kw's wiring will be wired for most optional equipment. You will probably find what you need with your vin the last 6 numbers. Is the engine brake turned on in the ecm. The reason I ask is it probably is already wired for it. I know on N14 all that was needed was install jakes and reprogram the ecm. All wiring was in place and functional.
