Don't exactly know what route you are planning to get there, but there is going to be a major storm coming into the sierras today/tonight, so if it was me, I would take US93 all the way down to Vegas and then cut over to CA on I-15.

Yea my routing has me taking the 95 to the 80 then 15 the 93 looks like it's a ways away.
