Wish I could be on that Disaster Relief Run. Sure miss doing stuff like that. See? People in those kinds of situations make my problems look "not so big". And knowing that you are a part of the solution make the job rewarding. <sigh>RebelChick Thanks this. -
Ok, just venting a bit...
Sitting at the Richmond Yard... Had a coolant leak develop over the last week or so and ended up limping it home with heat on high and windows open... Not a huge deal just watched it as I had been routed to Richmond anyway and was going to put it in once I arrived.
I am 3k from my next PM so, since the truck is going to the garage and the driver sitting in the lounge until it's fixed, I put it in for the PM service a bit early.
Now my gripe,
It's "too early" for the PM... If it was within 1k they would do it... But since it's 3k they will wait...
So now in the next week or two, this driver will once again be routed right back to where I am today to have a PM completed at that time... but not now when I am here and sitting...
Just doesn't add up to me,
but hey, it's not my call... {shrug}White_Knuckle_Newbie Thanks this. -

Guess it needs a new rear end and the garage said it would be tomorrow ... Touched base with the mechanic and he said "who said it would be done tomorrow? We won't have the parts until tomorrow... Looking at two days at least"... I love the communication.
Now waiting outside of Bill's office to see if they have a free truck to drive for a couple days... and he is out doing test drive with the Orientation Class.
Ironically, Sunday morning I had a feeling I should just driven home and told FM to call me when they are ready for me to drive... But then I thought, it's just batteries and a coolant leak... Next time I might just listen to my gut... LOL
Stay Safe,

Well, I get my first experience driving a freightshaker... Heading to SC for a morning HP load.
