Fuller is the party responsible for the water to oil coolers not paccar. They are junk and expensive.
As stated keep an eye on the temp. If I recall correctly 220 is getting up there. You can run it there for a little, 250 is time to pull over and cool it down.

Is it still working fine? My transmission cooler is about to give up the ghost and this sounds like something i may do versus replacing the cooler.

Not sure what you mean? Just make one hose from transmission to transmission

We sell a cheap factory eaton fuller plate that bolts over the two cooler ports and has the same effect as the looped hose, the benefit is its not sticking out away from the transmission where it's vulnerable to abrasions and a potential oil leaks. If you look where your oil cooler lines connect to the transmission you will see five small threaded holes in the case around the cooler ports this is how the plate fastens to the caseEverLuc Thanks this.

What year is the truck and what speed tranny auto shift or manual?

2005. It is an 18spd. I have the coolant to oil type cooler that is mounted on the top of the transmission. There are coolant lines that run in/out on the front side. Those are the coolant lines I was asking about looping or joining for the time being.

Okay the the kit comes with the five little bolts the plate and gasket and it's fuller number k-2402 and if I remember right it's less than 50 bucks. Well worth it considering it keeps everything factory. Edit. I found it for $10 and some change by Google eaton fuller k-2402Last edited: Jan 9, 2016
