If I was planning on going back OTR I would seriously consider them. (I drive Local) Just wondering if there is any drivers out there that work for them that read this thread if so please write about it.

I have a buddy of mine that works there,He is pretty happy. He seems to be getting miles and staying busy.He lives in Denver so its convenient for him.Likes his truck, says the people are decent
Milkman719 Thanks this. -
Sysco did you go to work for them? They are advertising in Phoenix for drivers and they are offering .43 per mile and 3000 miles a week.

Pasquale what is wrong with them

yeah whats wrong with quality log. llc?

What's wrong with the company is a lot of things. They run recaps for tires. They maintain a co policy of not fueling while out on the road. They have fuel and def tank and want drivers to fuel in the yard. Running trucks on bareass empty is not only stupid and dangerous but it causes many many many mechanical issues which Volvo cannot keep up with. Basically, 3/4 quarters of the time 1/4 of fleet is broken down. (might be slight exaggeration but they got srs mechincal issues) They offer local driving and from CA (cali is occasional) ID WA WY AZ and TX If you're looking for a lot of miles this is not the co for you. (that's why they pay more per mile cuz the miles r low. CO taxes are insane so you lose buckets of cash.
Office staff is nice enough but nice don't get the job done. It's also ran by family which can be good so you have a name and face of ppl running the office and not just SallyStupidDon'tKnowTheDrivers at a switchboard but @ same time, having Aunt Bertha in Alabama run the ins or payroll is more than a blanket of problems its'a afghan of problems big enough to cover the usa.
Also, they close at night. Yes. The office closes and policy is unless its an emergency such as you set fire to your last drop stop or you killed 100 ppl on I25 then they're not avail for you. Well, I take that back, a lot times you can get a text response but "policy' is: try n handle it yourself. 0_o They suggest you keep you at least 200 cash on ya at all times to cover issues till they can help you the next day. They offer 200$ cash advances and charge 15$ per one hundred borrowed and they are quick to respond to that.
The co honestly tries to run a fair and decent co, they do. I can see it especially compare to many ####h*ole scandalous other companies but I don't think they've got it all together enough yet to be running anything more than the 25 trucks they got.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 15, 2018

I see them all around Denver and considered them before I got on with Frito Lay. They sound like another bad company kind of tell you what you want to hear to get in the door. Typical Craigslist trucking CO. Only thing I don't agree with is you say taxes in Colorado are high. they aint that bad but the weed smell around I-70 and Havana now that's another story.
-
Hello. Yes, agreed, the smell of weed is terrible, it is. I'm not trying to trash the company, just truly provide anyone whom reads this a heads up of how the company is. They do try to run a professional company and the office does know everyone by name and face which of course is kind of nice. It's just they do have mechanical issues with their trucks. The company runs Volvo rigs which only receives repairs by Volvo in Denver and that particular maintenance shop doesn't know what they're doing. So the office cannot help other companies which they cannot control. But of course there in lies the issue: One, either stop running trucks on empty as it causes a cascade failure affect on the entire engine so they end up with multiple issues or two: for love of god find someone else to do the repairs.
But yeah.. the pay is spot on what they quote. The office is mega clean, keeps fresh coffee on hand during the day or you can make it yourself nites n weekends, super clean bathroom with shower at the terminal, they get you home on weekends or provide you with your home time during the week if you wish. Pay advances are fast, but they shouldn't charge you, they run paper logs ( some may like that, some may not, I prefer Qualcomm) Honestly I would say if the company only had regular occasional mechanical issues, didn't run recaps in blizzard territories, dealt with their refueling policy and got rid of nepotism ran divisions then they really a good company to work for locally. I just see it as a small time business not able to keep with current demands. Take care.bucko151 and Milkman719 Thank this.
