That one is on the driver. We all can shut it down. I worked for them for many years and not once was I ever forced or asked to driver tired.

I also want to point out I no longer work there so I would have no reason to lie / defend if I found it untrue.

 

These youtube faces will do what they do. There dreams are to move into the office, the problem is most dont realize that most companies have no interest bringing a driver in. You would be seen as a liability as you would sympathize with the driver to much..

Little dwag managed to do it in Reno, NV. He heads up safety for the terminal last time I checked. And in all honesty Ill say good for him for moving in the direction he wanted to and getting in where most drivers dont.

 

I was watching one of "Little Guys" recent vids (past couple days) and he was in the passenger seat of Lil' Dawg's Bobtail driving somewhere with Lil' D. He mentioned Lil' D was going back on the road to run the I-5 (I think it was like a Regional West Coast 6, don't quote me)... said he had a 4th 'bun in the oven' coming.

Guess that means he wasn't makin' enough in safety and had to go back out on the road during the week and get home on the weekends. At least that was my interpretation.

 

Speaking of recruiting... Does anyone know how much the CDL training is in Phoenix now, ballpark, now that they only offer training (no travel, hotel, or food)? Do you think they'll still have the school through the end of the year (it looks like Knight has been moving toward getting out of the school business)?

 

They are keeping a few of them, I think meph and phx. But I don't know really any more details then that. They were not all that successive. I think the main reason they kept the Meph and Phx locations were for vets using the GI bill, tho not 100% on that.

 

...but you can still pay your own way, right? I wonder how much it costs now in Phoenix.
