Kind of a slow start to the new year but I'm enjoying it. Spending time with the family before it's back to the grind.

Het ,what do you and Plant think of that company Marathon Petroleum? I've seen them around but we never had any dealings with them. I think they had problems paying their bill so we dropped them.

They don't have any presence here in so cal.

And we are jamming over here. 76 work seemed to have dropped off I think I was only down there once in the last week or two and it was for costco.

Busting you know what. 33 hours of overtime last check plus holidays (biweekly). Back to Back Boise, ID runs this week. In Ontario, OR as I type this. Been throwing iron pretty frequently up here. Next Friday I'm doing a team run to Conroe, TX to pick up some winter additive to bring back to our yard.

Everywhere else lol. They are a pretty big oil company top 10 in the US I believe. Interestingly though I just recently started seeing marathon TV commercials here in so cal. Maybe they are thinking about moving in.

And weeble, I don't miss throwing chains at all!

That's funny to hear you all talk about Marathon like that. They are huge where I live (Florida), and I really didn't even imagine they weren't nationwide until you all just popped those posts haha. Down here they do not have a private fleet. But their rack is one of the better maintained ones from where I pull, its also a little bit stricter :(!

Good to hear you are enjoying time with family. I have a question about loading. about half the time I load I get vapor escaping( whistling noise plus smell ) drivers always give me a dirty look and ask if my internals are open. every time I checked they were. I am building up air before hooking up everything and opening internals. So wtf? I work up a sweat every time it goes into high flow because that is usually when I hear whistling and the strong smell of fumes in the loading rack. Your professional opinion would be much appreciated

Your internals are not letting air out of the top and into the vapor line.....that's the only time I've heard them whistle under the rack. Are they air or cable controlled ? Have you inspected the dome covers and vapor system up on top of the trailer...?

Building pressure before you start loading could just be the trailer warming up inside thus expanding the vapors .....while your driving back to the rack.
