I wonder if it will work that way when I get a new truck.
Right now I can idle at any temp.
And right now, when my batteries need replacing, I sometimes need to idle between those temps.
If I have to run the bunk heater overnight the batteries will be too low to start the truck in the morning.
But Swift is putting it off. The last time I had to get a jump I was at a TA. They told Swift that I needed the batteries replaced, and Swift said no. I could go to a terminal.
I'll be at Laredo in a couple days. Let's see if they replace any of them this time. They didn't 2 weeks ago.
ok, swift or western express for new guy?

I am still on tract to start with Western Express. Will let you all know how it goes.
From what I have read the past months..Swift, Werner and Western pay all about the same. Correct?
I hear Schneider is slightly better when it comes to paychecks. I intend to do just 6 months - 1 year. So it's not really a big deal. Long as I am earning at least 500 weekly after taxes. That suits me fine.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Well I agree their is not a bunch of differences between the three mega's you listed. The big difference is Western Express has a lot worse reputation with the DOT. That is a lot worse by a large margin. That should be reason enough to consider your other options.

I don't think Western Express has those driver facing cameras. If that's true, it would be an easy choice for me personally.

Chinatown Thanks this.
