West bound if I see one snow flake before Echo, UT I take I-84. East Bound if I see one snow flake before I-15 I take I-84 which is only 11 miles more but seems like 50. Summer time it is no problem unless there is road construction.

The wind around Elk Mountain is of more concern because you can get an extra strong gust that will require an underwear change. The speed limit in Wyoming in bad areas is variable which has helped. Before the speed limit was changed to variable it was fixed at 75 mph, it is not steep.

US259 through OK can be fun. US191, US6... has anyone mentioned US50 through the rockies? Anywhere in northwestern AR. But if we are talking notoriety Cabbage, Donner, Snoqualmie, Camp Verde, Monteagle, Fancy Gap.

Avoid route 33 in WV to VA. Lol. That one caught me off guard. It's a "truck route" but not really lol. I decided to try it once with 46k lbs of paper rolls in a truck with crap for a jake. One of the hills was 10% with a. 180 degree hair pin RIGHT at the bottom. I thought I was gonna need to change under pants after that one! And that was on a beautiful spring day! Lol.

On most interstates there aren't bad hills. I 70 west of Denver has a few, Donner is sometimes tricky, Cabbage in Oregon isn't bad if you read the road signs. I haven't seen much in the way of "bad" hills east of the Rockies, on the interstate. If you get off of the interstate in West Virginia or western Virginia and you might mess yourself on some of those hills...

The popular ones are nothing. They just get annoying after a while. The roads I don't like are the state roads up in hills with two lanes going all squiggly on you having to slow down and make sure no car or semi comes in front before taking both lanes to even make the turn
