Google "boc-3". A one time charge of around $30 will get you a process agent in all 50 states. Cheap and easy.

For interstate only, no. Your MC number is all you need.If you want to do local only pickup and delivery you'll have to contact the county or city where you will be doing business.

They lay out step by step this whole process of starting up a business and making it successful. Especially Red Foreman's since he did what you are planning, starting a business and putting a driver other than yourself behind the wheel.
