Where do truckers spend thanksgiving

I worked Christmas once as a cab driver. Great tips all night long.

The highlight was late that night when the Mexican's bar opened up, I got a load of Mexican laborers off to spend their money on the ladies (there was a thriving underground economy of illegals, working cash jobs far from home. Young men, flush with cash, looking for entertainment.)

So me, the local homeless guy, (who would ride shotgun in the cabs from time to time to stay warm. He was a regular) and three "pre-gamed" Mexican lads were off to the brothel (?) just before midnight. They were passing a joint and very mellow.

And then, "Feliz Navidad," came on the radio,,,,

Well it was probably the worst karaoke of that song ever, but a good time was had by all.

The stereotype of being forced to work generally doesn't apply

 

I usually call my family. And eat in my truck. I have ham, beans, peas, and more. It's fun to me having Thanksgiving with my family but I'm call them, and I eat in my truck.
