My new home MVT Mesilla Valley Transportation

For three months while my ankle was healing, MVT kept telling me I had my job not to worry. I was released from the doctor to go back to work the day after labor day. I sent MVT a copy of my release, only to be called by a recruiter saying I was not going to be rehired. His reasoning was that I brought the truck home too much. I called everyone from the recruiter to the highest in management. Nobody could give me an answer to my question,which was how did I bring the truck home too much when everytime I went home I was dispatched to be there. Sounds like they thought of me as a liability.. I now drive for Conway truckload.

 

Just to refresh this thread. I've been running as a local driver out of Detroit for them a little over six months now. Go to Canada a few times per week. Home every night and weekends off, no real complaints, good people to work with. I pulled in over 36k in under six months from them, so a local gig for 70k a year...I like it.

 

They got some ugly trucks.

 

As I remember about mvt 95 percent could not back up. I was a yard dog at a plant they'd come to daily and I think two actually were able to park their own trailer. Mvt lucky I was the yard dog cause I'd tell em to drop it and I'd park the trl.
