Trimac has a terminal somewhere in Michigan, I think it's around Detroit but I've never been. I'm on what they call the Elite Team. It's long haul OTR but the pay is great. I have no complaints. As stated above we also have a terminal in Chicago, probably could take your pick. Trimac is probably the most laid back company when it comes to the small stuff.

Your 1 year might qualify you for the Elite Team but it will definitely qualify you for a regular system driver.

    Refer to post 21
That's how I got my start in tankers.
I got in with a great affiliate, great people and made great money. Stayed just over a year and moved on to an even better gig

I'll have to check them out, I drove for Suttles/Dana, Altom, BRT, so I've got plenty of experience. I got out of trucking last year to go work for a truck dealer. I am very happy here but the benefits suck and it seems the trucking companies offer much better benefits. You mention you moved on to a better gig, may I ask who that was with and was it as a company driver or owner operator? It seemed like the O/O's at Dana made pretty good money, and I would love to buy a truck and become an O/O.
