how hard would it be for an old guy (64 :biggrin_25523: ) to get into car hauling... interested in trying a 7 / 8 high hook... i have a little bit of driving experience driving (1994 - 2013 / a little over 2,000,000 miles, boxes, end dumps, reefer, and smooth bore tanks)... are there any companies that train drivers... everything i find want two years experience. i retired and am bored and want to learn something new and interesting...

I don't see an issue. You already know how to drive. You can concentrate on learning carhaul and not trying to learn to drive at the same time. Realize that it is very physical. Climbing, etc. Show me an old carhauler that don't have bad rotators ( from pulling down on the tiedowns).

Email me info about your company. I have plans to own a fleet of auto haulers. Also does your company have a maintenance apprenticeship program? I want to learn how to haul cars and work on the trucks and trailers that I will own one day so I canput a dent in tthe maintenance cost. I'm also going to take business administration classes so I don't lose my was out there. So hopefully within 10-20 years I'll have a decent small company. My email is dylan.bussom@gmail.com any information is greatly appreciated.
