Used to be a huge dirt lot, a short distance from the truck entrance.

Last time I was there that dirt lot had signs for no truck parking, but there were a bunch of trucks parked. There is a casino few miles north of there where you can park.

Los Lunas PD doesn't normally bother trucks that are parked near the DC as long as you aren't obnoxious about it. If you're going to be parked overnight, there's a GMC dealership close by and you can probably get away with parking on the street that leads to the dealership (Autumn Brush Rd.) since it's out of the way. Desert Willow Rd. might be another option since the Merillat factory over there has been closed for several years. Stay off Los Morros Rd. (the road the DC is on) though. If worse comes to worse, head south on I-25 maybe 5 minutes from Los Lunas and I can point you to any of the empty dirt lots around my neighborhood.

If you want to be guaranteed 100% "no issues" parking, then Isleta Casino (about 10 minutes north on I-25) does have truck parking as does the gas station on the same side of highway 47 as the casino. Wal-Mart will not let you park in their lot (there's a WM right by the DC) though.

That Walmart D/C is the scum pit of them all. Its the one D/C I absolutely refuse to go to.

No parking worth crap, takes them anywhere between 4-6 hours to get out of there and just a genreal slush pit when it comes to the people that seem to work there. Especially the people behind the desk that check people in. Lets all stand there for 20 to 30 min why they tell there friend about there last sexual encounter.

I would be ok if it was just one time, but it seems to be any time I go there. I know Wal-Mart in general can be bad to deliver to but this one has always taken the cake for me.

About 5 miles north there is a small truck stop/
I-25 exit 215 there is a very small t/center with parking for about 10 trucks. I have always found an empty spot there. Then 2 hours before your appt head to wm and park outside the gates with other trucks. Alot of trucks get stacked up there so it can take awhile to get to guard shack so thats why you want to get there 2 hrs early. But you cant stay the night there.
