Daytime pic and I added a dunnage bulkhead because I don't like this load... Those are lumber tarps if you can't tell. Ugly.
(that horizontal chain is putting no pressure is on the plug)
I've never done a dunnage bulkhead before and it looks ugly, but it's tight.Last edited: Feb 13, 2016

Did a load of steel pipes this week. They are concrete lined with a plastic outside coat so they've got to be strapped. Pipes are 5.5 tons each. They are in shaped timber bolsters. Unloaded in the biggest shed I've been in for a while.

Yeah, you can't have something that you picked up outside sit outside at a delivery location, especially if it is going into the ground... LOL

I saw this today. The way I should have routed a single chain for my dunnage bulkhead. Duly noted.
