It seems that i was proven right after all. Oil up to around 148.00 the highest so far, trucking companies closing left and right around a thousand in the first quarter of this year, Rates not going up high enough to compensate, government refusing to do anything about it, everything from food to energy bills going up and up, people losing there homes or not being able to feed there family's, owner ops losing there trucks, drivers losing there jobs.....and nothing left but a bunch a whining truckers calling for another strike!!!!!!

You had your chance. I tried to tell you all what would happen that we would have to force the government to make a change, i tried to tell you all to fight the good fight, to better your life as well as your family's and the American people lives as well but no........a strike would not make a difference you said. Even though truckers around the world are striking and making there governments do the right thing and improving there way of providing for there loved ones.

Most of you will never learn, you know why? Because you just dont give a #### about anyone but your selves!

Now you are paying the price of your foolishness. Your just going to have to suck it up and deal with it!!!!!

.................lets see how long this post stays up before someone complains about it and it is removed. Because the truth does hurt!

Umm, crude oil last traded at $128.50 and it never traded $148.

And exactly what "change" would you "force" the government to make?

Crude oil is a global commodity, U.S. lawmakers can do nothing about that.

Epic fail. No hard facts. Just exaggerations and fear-mongering.

I looked at your other post........so did that come out of the democratic play book or did you think it up all by your self?

........and yes oil did hit a high of 148.00. There are all kinds of sites that track the prices. Find one and check it out a few times a day and you can track it for your self. What you see and hear on the news is not always the truth....

Sorry about posting this two times, was not my intention.

Democrat? Pft. I vote "non-stupid". Sadly, that doesn't seem to exist.

Where's your source that oil hit $148? Yes there are companies and owner operators going out of business. But that's part of competition. Part of the reason capitalism works and communism doesn't. Yes. The price of food and everything else is going up. So what? Are we in doomsday mode yet? Heck no! I feel just fine, and I have a roof over my head. I'll tighten up my belt if I must.

A strike will never work. The prices are the way they are because of market forces. The government can do very little if anything about it.
