Driving an 07 KW T600 with a C13 Cat motor. Noticed the turbos sounding different, and loss of power. Sounds like it's overspooling, Humming/whining, kinda sounds like a belt driven blower on a hot rod. Don't have a boost gauge or a pyro, so I don't know what I'm getting for boost. Had it at a local shop, turbos , hoses/clamps, CAC apparently checked out ok, Anyone ever had this issue?

Could be a bad intake elbow gasket. Did they check for shaft play on the turbos?

How many miles are on the turbos? Specially the smaller one.
Is it low on power when warming up? Do the turbos sound like they are on a different page?
I have simular things going on when cold and couldn't get it solved in almost 5 years. Even new turbos didn't solve it. They were due and made some funny noise. If I remember correctly the small one was at 1.2 million km and the big one at 1.9.

Before you blow anything, I'd bring it to CAT in Winnipeg. Talk to Randy. Or give him a call. I had my engine rebuilt from them and they're awesome and stand behind their product/workmanship.

Make sure the plumbing (bellows) isn't cracked or split....also pay attention to air compressor intake air plumbing.
