I buy an egg crate from Wal-Mart and roll it out over the mattress then put sheets on over it

Are you putting a different bed, or converting it to be a tractor?

    Where to get lights?

Walmart, any trailer shop. Any lights will work, even those fancy truck lights. The plug may be an issue but if you have a setup for a trailer, just use that.

By the way. I bolt a piece of wood across the frame and put lights on that. I also put mud flaps/minifenders on because there is nothing worse than having a very pissed off person ram your truck because you just sprayed them with rocks.

I see so your plugging the lights into the trailer receptacle and not hard wiring them into the original light wiring harness? As for the piece of wood across the frame, I have seen that with the mud flaps attatched... I think I am going to fabricate myself some quarter fenders and do it that way....

Yeah unless it is not a temp install, I would just use the trailer plug.

    michaelaland Thanks this.
