Do a year and switch to the Elite side if you want. If you get on you will make substantially more money for the same job, OTR. If you aren't happy let someone know, they are usually pretty good at listening to legit complaints.

After about 8 months at Trimac, no major complaints. Agree that the equipment could be better but my 2011 Cascadia now with 475000 miles has been dependable for the most part with no major problems. I like the larger sleeper on the older trucks. We are getting some new trucks in and the sleeper area is smaller. Not even room for a fridge so I will keep the older truck as long as possible. My complaints are fairly minor but here they are: 1) Think the company should pay for unload time. We are expected to unload for 2 hours with no additional pay. If it runs longer than that they will pay an hourly rate.
    2) The Rand Mcnally miles they pay are rarely accurate of the actual route meaning you are driving more miles than paid for. I think this is the not unusual however.
I am happy with the weekend off schedule and could easily make more money but like having the weekend time with family. I am on a dedicated run and normally get around 2200-2500 miles a week.
