    Needing to have oil analysis done on a truck looking to buy. Any place local I can take the sample to, versus mailing it off.

    I don't know who does samples in Chattanooga and I live 65 miles from there. I mail mine off to Thompson CAT in La Vergne, TN. I don't know how they would handle a walk-in. Maybe they would get right on it. That's a 120 mile drive one way though. Call around some of the truck dealers in Chattanooga and ask who does samples locally.

    Might want to call and make sure. Thompson has locations all over the southeast but as far as I know only the corp headquarters La Vergne location has an analysis lab.

    Yeah thats usually how it works. I worked for cat in Miami and we had 6 branch stores but they all had to send the labs to Miami
