Yesterday, I turned down a 1,100 plus miler, she looked too tight, ended up with the same run, just a load that delivers 5 hours later.

A Crete truck pulled over lit the CB up, the rebel didn't slow down in the 50 mph construction zone,
    It was hilarious, hilarious!!

    HILARIOUS.

5 semis destroyed in fire at trucking terminal

    http://nbc4i.com/2016/02/24/five-semis-damaged-in-fire-at-trucking-terminal/

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — At least five tractor-trailers were damaged early Wednesday morning during a fire at a west Columbus trucking terminal.

The fire was reported shortly after 4 a.m. at Crete Carrier at 5400 Crosswind Drive. That’s near I-270 and Georgesville Road.

Initial reports indicated that firefighters initially had difficulty getting enough water on the burning trucks in order to contain the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

    No injuries were reported.

Several streets in the area were shut down for a short time and have since reopened.

Jeez... looks like at least one of those drivers woke up and tried to move their truck. That has to suck. On the bright side noone got hurt... so there's that....

Once when I was in Wilmer, they had a bunch of 13 letter #### spreaders lined up for trade, the brake lights kept coming on in one of them. I told the shop, thinking it might be an electrical problem that could cause a fire, they shrugged it off, saying "they do that sometimes"

At least they don't appear to have been hooked to trailers.
    Good nobody got hurt.

A few years ago they had several tractors burn at Lincoln.
