    No one ever comes back and posts their failures, so every Tom Dick and Harry assumed all you people with pipe dreams succeeded cuz you never were man enough to come back and say, I ####ed up.

    Well, what was supposed to be happening, and what was, were two different things. I made the mistake of not getting paperwork written up and all that. Basically I was supposed to be "working off" the truck, or L/P if you wanna use that. But when he started getting pissy because I have military duty, I was finalizing a divorce, and I had literally been back from Afghanistan 6 months and wanted to be home more, he rescinded everything, and on top of that, freight dried up, so it all went to hell in a hand basket.

    Needless to say, I was a moron. Making 25% because I thought I was making the payments without paperwork saying so, and I was 1099 so you can imagine how screwed my taxes were. Just things I did that I should have double checked. My bad.

    Paperwork paperwork paperwork. Always have a paper trail.
