Falling asleep at the wheel is not a moving violation in TN, so the driver has a clean MVR after being the cause of a fatality? He got another trucking job after the accident.

The coverage told one side, and put trucking and big business a bad light. What do we expect of broadcast journalism?

I might get flamed for this one ....but here goes....How is falling asleep at the wheel not a moving violation???? If you fall asleep at the wheel whether driving a semi or a car you are at fault. Now granted I will give that since this was a truck there could of been other facters that come to play, but ultimately you are resposible when driving any vehicle.

    Cybergal Thanks this.

You'd think so huh? But there it is plain as day. Falling asleep at the wheel is not a crime in Tennessee. He kills someone and his MVR remains clean? He gets to get another job driving trucks?:biggrin_25516:
