Every load. Sucrose. My MT weight going in seems reasonable at #30,3xx. They say a full load is #51,000. Then I say... In that case you're over, overloading me!

For milk, it depends on whether the loader's keeping an eye on the milk level from the top of the dome.
Some dairies have pumps that take 35min to an hour to pump, and others have monster pumps that could pump in about 20 min or so.
I've used a tiresome process of weighing the trailer, letting some milk drain back into the farm tank, and then re-weighing. With that I've made a measuring stick that measures from the ceiling near the dome and down to a notch for a corresponding size of tanker I'm using(6200 gal, 6500 gal,. etc). I always have it come out to about 48k-49k when the milk hits the notch on the stick.dwalto Thanks this. -
Thanks for the replies. Do most shippers you visit have scales?

Most of the milk I load is relayed to long-haul drivers that take it to the final destination. From what I hear, most of the customers they do go to have scales near the entrance/guard shack.
I know the cheese plant I routinely took nightly dairy runs to had them.dwalto Thanks this. -
