I have been driving local delivering food. Trailers range from 28-36 feet. Will that count as verifiable experience for me to switch local to a freight company. I've seen companies that said 3 mos experience to run local I have that. So I'm hoping if anyone knows of my Eco would count to get me in. Bc I've heard I may still have to go Otr to get the real experience if I want to switch.

I don't know why it would not count.

Don't tell them how long the trailers wre. During the road test just be extra cautious. The same applies for your first few trips, be extra cautious.

It will be a lot different. Them pups 28 and 36ers will bend more quickly. So when you male the cut the trailer responds quicker.

So it's possible to switch jobs like I'm trying to. Since I have the tractor trailer experience. Just my reaction time will just have to not be as quick till I'm used to the longer trailer?

It'll be easier backing up a 53'. Pups are a bear to backup. And yes, your experience will count. It's the same concept, no matter the length. Like others have said, just be extra careful (always but at least until) you get the hang of of the longer trailer
