Yes but they're not telescopes. They have a hard time seeing 600 miles when I'm planning where I'm going to stop.

Then you just take your chances, the rest of us will use our heads! Good luck!

Really - that's your answer? You said drivers should plan ahead so their clock runs out someplace safe. Well I know Charter Way in Stockton, CA is a pit because I grew up there but how is a guy from Cheyenne supposed to know that?

They should really tear down that dump and and put in a proper truck stop like a TA or Petro. I used to run LTL in that area and have had the displeasure of stopping there a couple times for lunch. I don't understand how a metro area as big as Seattle can have such a lack of truck facilities. Even Portland has a ton of options by comparison.DTP Thanks this.

This truck stop just went through hoops with the city of Sumner to expand. This from a few years ago....
A small fuel station in Sumner, WA, has been fighting city hall, trying to expand its business to accommodate more parking and other services for truckers.
Mustard Seed Truck Stop Manager Tom Reed said they have faced a lot of resistance from the Sumner City Council in their efforts to expand their site to add more truck parking 65 spaces and other amenities for truckers. The Mustard Seed charges $10 for 12-hour truck parking.
However, he said in the past week, the city council has changed their minds somewhat and are not completely opposed to their proposal.
Reed said he received word that at the councils meeting on Monday, May 18, the city will recommend a site study to see whether a truck stop would make enough money for the city to want us here.
