IMO yes. 1.4 a year over 10 tells me you can't keep a job. I wouldn't hire.

If you average it out, you changed jobs every 8.5 months. Not to say that figure is accurate since you could've been at one place for a year, 6 weeks at another, 4 months at a third, etc.
Regardless, 14 jobs in 10 years is a sign of a person with terminal "job hopperitis". As MidWest pointed out, if you were with a temp agency then it wouldn't be much of a problem because you could like "Day Labor R Us" for your employer even if you had 8 different assignments. Aside from that, it shows any potential employer that you're not planning on staying around for too long at any one place and they won't want to invest the time and money into "onboarding" someone with that kind of a record. You're basically telling a prospective employer "Hi, I'll work for you for a couple months and then bail on you, but you should hire me anyway."Grijon, Jonrulerofearth and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -
Good Lord! You have to ask?

Too many for what? The past ten years have been rough. I've had multiple changes and I prefer to stick around.
When my wife worked for a mega carrier screening lease operators, their rule was no more than three jobs in the past year.
My son also did a brief stint as a driver recruiter for a different company and had similar criteria.
