Houston is one of the harder terminals to get on at. They have apps down there from experienced car haulers which normally get hired first. Other terminals are easier to get on but Houston can be tough to get your foot in the door with no experience. Sorry it didn't work out. Try Hansen or C.A.R. Transport. They are both good companies as far as I know.

What makes you think they are "judging" you just from a application? Do remember you are trying to get into a field that you have no experience. They have the right to choose who they interview and who they hire.

I understand that, but there website seems like they would train qualified experience truck drivers. I have just heard about USAL by a co employee at my current job and I know for a fact it is the type of company I have been looking for all my working life. Should I go to there headquarters And show how interested I am.

I wouldn't. As said above it is one of the more sought after terminals so there are applications from experienced car haulers sitting down there that will be considered before yours. I would call a different terminal and see where you can get in. Then really learn the business and try real hard to not mess up any vehicles and maybe in a year or two you can work your way in to Houston

If you really want to get on then try calling Jackie back and see if there hiring at the Dallas terminals. If you don't mind being away from each home some to start with, then ask him about Canton MS. Canton has tons of freight going to all parts of TX so you could get home most weeks but may get stuck out sometimes. That would possibly get you in the door and then you could try to transfer to Houston after a year or so

Houston. All training is done in Houston or Birmingham and you can choose which one that you want to train at
