I think this..I average 5 loads a week at most, i like 600 to 900 mile loads. I stay out of NE, too hilly, fuel is more, loads out are way to cheap. I still make 1500 to 2200 a week take home...its not as easy as before but the key is really watching the load board and having good planning skills. Bottom line it can only get better.

Well guys i did the kllm lease deal
I made it two weeks I turned truck back in yesterday. Their one huge flaw is dispatch.
They did give my bonus tho 1500 and paid for orientation 500 I would have got 1500 more if I had stayed 2 more weeksbut my dispatcher was gonna leave me stuck in south Carolina all weekend. NOPE NOT ME i dead headed all the way back to jackson ms and gave em the truck back. I really think schneider has the winning program. Maybe I'll be able to come steal some of yalls gravy and biscuits one of these days.

You didn't really give it a chance..it takes time to build a relationship with a dispatcher.
Just like when you're a company guy.
Hopefully you're not out any money other than working for free.
Good Luck when you bounce.Last edited: Mar 13, 2016

Notice how even having a cheap driver pulling a Reefer for .90 he sat all weekend.
Freight is in the toilet now.
I do not suggest anybody leasing a truck in these conditions and yes even here at Schneider.
Us that know the game and system can still get by in these conditions but a rookie would have the deck stacked against them.drvrtech77 and CaptainDaveG Thank this. -
I wonder do people do math before agreeing to these terrible flease deals? At .90 and barely any FSC now theres barely any money left over after paying for that $150000 truck and fuel.T_TRUCKER. Thanks this. -

I lost no money, nothing will go against credit, it was pretty profitable to try it for me. I appreciate you guys chatting on this forum. I gave it all the chance I was willing to, when a man doesn't return a call or even put in for a load for me to get back home, according to the night dispatch guys, that's all I need to know. The only way it would have worked was if they had really awesome dispatch but that was definitely not the case. So i left while I was ahead it was a kool experience anyhow
