I think it's safe to say the OP hasn't got details on either company. The big numbers is what caught his attention.

It's all symmantics,,,We can go over percentages of this n that all day.

The OP must understand something,........ HONESTY.

What i have learned over the course of time is Very Few in this business are honest.

So you want to lease a truck onto an existing carrier,,,...

You will ALWAYS wonder if their truly honest, It doesn't matter if its 72%,75% or 88% of 100- Doesn't matter because i can bet my Life on the Fact that virtually Every established carrier will try and "Hide" revenue for their own profit.

Even if they dictate they will "Show" you billed customer invoices..I still don't believe anyone. Years of investigating my own "Gut" feeling has proven to me, Everyone LIES.

Brokers,Carriers, big and small. All find a way to manipulate a driver

You Truly want to Play the game correctly, You CANNOT rely on others to support your revenue

Landstar,Mercer, and many other Larger Carrier/brokers make you think your getting your 75% But your really Not........

And, These sophisticated management officers of these companies make it seem that even the smartest of all drivers can't figure out what's really going on.

    Percentage doesnt tell much.

If your loads are coming through brokers instead of direct customers they're already taking a huge chunk out.

Or the loads are brokered between a group of companies all owned/controlled by the carrier .

The bigger question is how do you want to run your operation? Do you want someone to book freight for you & you run what they book, or do you want to be in control of who & what you run for?
