Does Stevens Transport allow pets? If so, any restrictions? Also what is their start out pay for a solo driver?

How is Van Wyk to work for, anyone know. Been driving for 15 years, but took a desk job 5 years ago. Have my CDL again since March and Van Wyk offering to put me with a trainer.
I have underwear older then him, lol.

With your 5 year absence, you are considered a "newbie" in the eyes of the insurance industry. That is why the majority of large carriers will want to have you go with a Trainer so as to meet the insurance requirements.
With a smaller company, doing a road test to show you won't wreck the truck may be all that is required, but their insurance carrier may balk after you are hired and are put on their policy.
Just the way thing's are going in the industry.
