300 miles since I dropped yesterday ... and I'm right back where I started. Every now and then you have one of those days. Started with a 2 load stack. First load was rescheduled, got a replacement that worked with the second load ...Then that load is now on second rework and the scale is a 1 hour plus round trip.
Shipper let me drop the trailer and will do rework, while I take my 10. Lost the second load, but working directly with the planners throughout this fiasco. They came through with a back up that is lighter and longer.

Minded la,I 20 660 mile day ..... First day back after a disaster week at belk in South Carolina lol wow can't believe people even do that for a living u load your own trailer at 1-4 stores unloading two days in a week it's 6-8 hours .... Never again lol ....actually heard belatedly your not really supposed to bust it out like I was doing just take your time and don't stress out collect your daily minimum450.00 a day) I couldn't do it like that or I would feel like a loser .....most uninspired group of people at each store to help unload, unsafe equipment( dock ramps, lights, rollers lol much less any type of training or orientation on how things work there .. I don't even want to say this but I guess that's why they work retail even in there 40s and 50s lol sorry if I offend anyone but come on!!!
You guys and girls still at swift don't realize how good u have it now after I been around other places lately
I'm going to oust soon about the difference between swift and other places you'll be amazed honestlyMoosetek13 Thanks this. -
That is exactly what I lost, 60 bucks.
But that is how I gamble. I take a set amount in, and if I lose it no big deal.
I have found that if I am going to win, it will be very quickly.
I go in and hit it, or I go in and lose.
Reno and Las Vegas were places I have lived and worked in the past.
Through observation and experience I have learned a lot. I'll never end up like the little old people, or younger people, that spend thousands hoping the 'luck' will change. -
My current load had to be brought back as well. The trailer was nearly 900 pounds over.
That wasn't the only one.
In over 5 years, I've had more reworks in the last 2 months than the total number prior to that.
The last 2 loaders seemed to have no idea of what weights we could carry.
I'm pretty sure it is a conspiracy by either Trump or Hillary to distract truck drivers.
It is only a theory mind you, but we are a pretty big group.
Those two will stop at nothing, leave no stone unturned, to sway even a single voter or get their way.
I wouldn't be surprised if some upcoming ad mentioned better education for dock workers. -
Nashville TA....34 restart.
I tried to sneak into Nissan Stadium just to say I've been inside an NFL stadium but no freaking luck lol. Oh well, guess I'll buy a ticket like everyone else when the time comes. -
If you buy a ticket, can you get your truck and trailer in there?
-
I doubt it unless they took a page from NASCAR, plus the stadium is two blocks from where I'm sitting. I can stick my head out my sleeper and see it.
Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
I didn't know what thread to put this question under but I know you folks would know the answer! And Thanks for the reply PS What threat should I've put the question on?
-
Never make a threat.
Well, unless you can carry it out. Otherwise the point is moot.
Starting your own thread on the subject would be best.
But you have your answer, so go forth young man and begin whatever subject you wish discuss. -
And never forget...
Proof reading, and correcting mistakes, is always a good idea before you hit the post button.
But, maybe that's just me.inkeper Thanks this.
