HazMat Endorsement, Criminal Record

I was told that its illegal for background search companies to use expunged records. I was told they'd make sure it was removed from all databases, but I don't know how they'd do that. I'd think you'd be able to sue them for making you lose a job. Maybe not, but seems like you should be able to. I'll ask my lawyer that is doing it for me, because that would be total crap, and make getting an expungement worthless.

 

Based on that DC843 provided and the googling I've done myself, it looks like it really depends on what the crimes are for and how long its been. It looks like you can't be a murderer or rapist, but most crimes don't matter like I thought they would when I first started to worry about this. Good do know and makes me feel better that there are people on here with records that didn't have a problem, makes me feel a lot better.
