Not sure which is worse, cold or hot,I did both. 105 in the shade and the sun beating on the trailer, gets pretty balmy inside throwing freight lol.

It was nice out last winter. But then again, I'm from here so..

Well, for $12 a month, my fiance rides in the truck with me and works on her master's degree. I like money, she likes working on her education without needing to worry about working, and well, i make twice what her and i combined used to make. Hard work means sacrifice, i don't drive 80k lb trucks for $5-600 a week.

Hey, I'm a new driver out of CT and was offered that same account for werner. Recruiter made it seem like your bringing home over 1200 a week and you'd run essentially 3 to 4 trailers a week. Is there any truth to those statements or is he blowing smoke?

I really couldn't tell you for sure, it's been a year since I was driving for them. When I was there it was possible, usually unlikely, but possible. Most drivers don't last long on the account due to the bs of the fleet managers and the work is hard. But I suppose if you make your fm happy and run hard it's possible. Good luck to ya.
2girls1son Thanks this. -
It's possible. They went up to 225 per trailer. 4 trailers a week is 1k plus mileage. But you're gonna work for it
2girls1son Thanks this. -
FireFighter_02 and BostonTanker Thank this.

Just for giggles I talked with a recruiter about Dollar General. I told them I have two years experience. They said they are only accepting students for that account.
I did Dollar Tree at Swift. I only got 110 to unload and 15 per stop. I got 33 a mile. -
