Started the day in Jersey. Had to drive through Philly, back into Jersey, then back into PA through Delaware and the DC metro are by way of the Capitol Beltway before finally escaping into VA where I am holed up for the night. You know it's a bad day when Jersey was the best part of the drive. Today has been dubbed "Elliott's Angry Drive".

I picked up there twice, and the load was ready on-time both times...I guess I was lucky.
-
Which spot? Do you mean actually on the lot at C&S?
-
Bordentown, NJ at the Petro.
Hoping I get lucky & get a load out today before Easter. Not holding my breath, though.
Otherwise, likely be here till Monday.
Have a Happy Easter, Y'all!albert l Thanks this. -
Happy Easter! I've been reading through this thread and have seen many of your posts.
I no longer drive for Prime, or drive trucks at all (I stopped in September), but I did for about 2&1/2 years, and had a really good experience. Prime is the only company I've ever driven for, and reading these posts makes me feel like I'm still part of the crew.

Murfreesboro, TN.
Going to try to get this load to Allentown, PA before payroll, so this check won't be too deep in the hole. I have to get more than two loads a week.
1800 miles a week ain't going to cut it. Easter weekend.
Why can't Pilot design a freaking lot?
Chucktshoes Thanks this. -
Nope

I had to think for a minute to even remember this post. -
You will find that you'll always be part of the crew.

One of the best things I like about Prime. Most Prime drivers I can talk to on the road like we've been buddies forever. One guy at my last 90 at the Richmond cold storage..Two drivers coming down 81 today. One was doing 54mph, he had the one of two cinnamon colored trucks, and the same antenna as me, so we tried to talk but the first Prime KEPT stepping on us, and anybody else that was talking. He wanted to stop at the 389 and buy me lunch, but I was hoping to get this load early at the 01, but I was stupid to think anybody was going to have my load ready before Easter. The macro 19 said no calls to check either.
Anyway, look across the median and wave Prime!!!Chucktshoes and FullMetalJacket Thank this. -
Ha ha ha,
Murfs Pilot. Gotta love it! Got some stories for you 'bout that place.
Far as your low miles. Remember, not about the miles for you now. It's all about the revenue. Keep that foremost in mind.
redoctober83 and darthanubis Thank this.
