Can anybody recommend a good used heavy truck salvage yard? Trying to find these parts but the few wrecking yards that have what I need are asking more than CAT is for brand new parts.
I'm searching for a set of valve cover spacers for a 3406B CAT. 7E0329
Also in need of the spacer(jake brake housing).
Need to find a truck wrecking yard for CAT parts

Hey stranger!
Another day, another round of broken stuff...LOL -
is there anything you don't wreck? good thing you didn't buy a volvo....sheesh...
-
LOL! This time it was our(FORMER) mechanic, long story.
Funny you mention Volvo's...The boss bought an old one and the trans went out, had to limp it along with only 7th&8th. Penske sent us one, real sluggish to crank but "certified road ready" and died on the HWY. They rented us a truck with a blown head gasket, antifreeze visibly weeping between block and head on #5. "Dedication at every turn." -
well.....any day your steering column don't come apart is a good day with a volvo...

Yeah, wouldn't want that. I know somebody who'd been thru that. Pucker factor 10000
