Anxiously waiting to hear back from Western tomorrow. I know there are a lot of bad reviews on this company, but from my position I have to see it for myself. I figure it can't be anymore stressful than the Marines. My question is where are all the positives? What can anyone say that's good? Apparently I'll be doing runs for copper on flatbed. If all goes well and I get it. I'm basically going for the experience and seeing where it takes me. Thanks anyone who responds.

You must be a glutton for punishment~dude there's way better starter companies~just because you were in the marines don't be a jar head use this forum and do your homework and find a better company

I advise that you seek out better options. If you can't do any better, do it for about 6 months, then move on up. -
Can't find much because I need a refresher course.
IAM KING Thanks this. -
Western will work for the refresher course.
What's your long term goal? Flatbed also? -

Since you've been off the road awhile, and want flatbed, then Western or Celadon can help. It's only for the short term anyway, so you can tough it out.

Where will you haul copper out of. I've hauled some from the copper mines in Utah.
