Oh. I didn't think of it that way. I was thinking that the more loads you knock down, the more securing you get to see. And the faster time flies. The driving part doesn't bother me. The sitting around and waiting when there's 2 of you in a truck would piss me off.

    TheNew.Old-Skool and Ruthless Thank this.

Bt is 100% load boards so you'll see alot of different freight. Nothing too strange or high dollar. Everything from bricks to cotton to shingles to coils to pipe etc. And plenty of tarping. Most of there trucks are new prostar with a few freightliners. Mostly new aluminum 48 ft flats. You'll start out probably in a Crappy 09 prostar but it won't be long till a newer truck opens up. I've been there a year in may and I'm around 3rd senior driver out of 22 trucks.

No cameras. You're captain of the ship. Big downside they are using a car routing program for miles so it's not very accurate and you have to explain truck routes sometimes. Start out at 40cpm and with rates the way they are now I haven't seen a raise. And no accessory pay. Just 40 cpm. All in all if you're looking for a solid second chance company I say go for it. Better then western express or the other megas but if I had a solid record I wouldn't be there.

@Chewy352 'learned he obedience through the things he suffered and after he was made perfect.'

It is a mark of greatness for a man to be able to get up and continue after being floored.

Oh I'm far from perfect but I'm working on it. Even with the downsides with this company I am pulling ahead financially. Being so small they can't afford for trucks to be sitting. We max our hours every week and do a 34 on weekends when brokers are closed.

You'd be better off getting your own truck. I couldn't imagine you not getting at least 2 weeks of training maybe 3 with a trainer teaming. Yea it sucks but you want your foot in the door. Somebody said its a few companies that will train you for a fee but everything is on your dime as far as getting there. Plan B would get with a really small company that would show you how to secure a dummy coil in the yard and give the regs then release you.

I can't remember who but there is someone who posts alot from systems here. I put in an application to run regional with them and I'm sure they appreciated the joke, had a good laugh, trashed my app and of course never called.

BT has zero training but would send you out with someone if you needed it. From what I've seen I wouldn't trust what they teach you.

Dang, I thought I was the only who remembered the old Charlie Douglas Roadgang on WWL. Dave Nemo and Big John Parker. And that old dump up there on the Mass Pike. Ah, the memories!

Mass 10 Truckstop must have spent a fortune on advertisements. I saw hookers there late at night walking around in negligee.
