No I was just goofing with you. I was replying to the posted pic of the antenna with the spider leg attachment at the base of it.

Any input on what that attachment is?

 

I cant seem to find the purpose for "spider legs" attachments use. My guess would be to gain more RF.......

 

The attachment is a ground plane kit that is sold as an accessory but it doesn't really work. It is another gimmick to make money off you guys.

Now Evvy I thought you were talking about something to do with the P10k so I apologize for the mistake. I didn't read his posts nor saw the picture because it wasn't loading here.

 

I bought this mag mount Wilson 1ooo as is with a galaxy 949. I sold the radio and kept the antenna. I have it for a back and have use it with my galaxy 44. Thanks for the 411.
