Logs can be edited by your company. I can go into peoplenets website and review my logs. I could edit them too, if I knew my company's closely guarded and likely frequently changed password. I would think, single truck independent owner ops would be privy to that info. If there isn't fine print wording written it the law prohibiting it after full compliance date.

Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Problem with that being that they can see you edited it if you're audited
-
Thanks, I figured that. But didn't know for sure. A better, untraceable editing program certainly would be nice then.
-
It would be pretty easy to do I'm assuming. Not sure if you're familiar with jailbreaking iPhones but it'd probably be about the same concept
-
I know nothing about any of that kind of stuff. Wonder what price someone would want, after they figured it out, to share the info?
-
I know what to expect, nothing. Just like the filed against CARB, And they won nothing. Once the government gets involved, your fighting a losing battle. OOIDA, just wants to look like there doing something for the members, it's a union thing I suppose. Once in awhile ooida get a bone tossed, buts that's it.
KANSAS TRANSIT and otherhalftw Thank this. -
Well, didn't they block it few years ago?
-
Block what, you mean prolong it. That's what I meant, they get a BONE tossed at them once in a while.
-
It's all a big conspiracy to force all the citizens into a vegetarian lifestyle for once the eld is implemented nobody will be able to afford to eat beef.
-
I dont know why the article is outdated. The lawsuit was filed immediately back in december.

Before and after versions are kept and appear on the printout the DOT gets when theuy request a copy of your logs. Use the email function on your Qualcomm some time. Send the report to your own email address. Then you can see what the cops are seeing.MrEd Thanks this.
