On a driving only day 600 miles is easy with 12 on and 12 off, even at 62.
That is what I base it on.
Loading and unloading, especially live, detracts from that.

1500 miles runs seem to be declining these days.

I only do tight 10 hour breaks when absolutely necessary.
I need time to myself to relax.

I've run a few refer loads.
And NEVER was I instructed on how to do so.
I was given the load, and then they tell me to just watch this light... everything will be OK.

    What if the light changes?
    Just adjust it.
    How?
It's obvious, use the buttons, just do it!

    Right.

And yes, I hope that when your in WVC and you go into those showers with toilets , that the new bred of warm bodies doesn't even know how to flush them, after using them. And that is consistent, month after month, after month!

    Yep!

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Here at my first stop, Helena. Today became a real fun day. Nice 24mph winds out of the WNW all the way. Then the pplans started. First was picking up a 45k load in Worland going to CA. They just ignored my home request for Monday in OH. Then a message back from the planners in Troutdale, would a t-call in SLC help and then THEY MIGHT have a load going east. Again no and then a stack, drop in SLC and dh 178 miles to Westvaco and pick up a load with no weight(at least 44k) and t-call in Edwardsville and then stacked with one out of Kansas going to Southern Indiana, 240 miles from my home, for Tuesday, live unload. No for all of them. Then finally a load that picks up in Billings going to Urbandale and told that they can get me home from there.

Then after I thought all of the fun stopped, get a call from my terminal manager. He did not like my 2 star rating on Voice our Choice. Had to explain what has been happening the last couple of months, like keep taking loads to areas that have plenty of freight only to show up and then nothing. Being told that they are going to get me south and then keep running me north. He was not to happy with me. Then why I declined 3 loads today, none getting me home. He told me that they could have done better out of Edwardsville going home, like maybe a load to IL. That is not Ohio. Only another 5 days of this BS.

My pick up wasn't until 1600 today, with no delivery appointment.
Since it is less than 300 miles away I figured it would be tomorrow sometime, but no.
Delivery is for the 7th at 0800.
That blows getting this load in this pay period, which leaves me with around 1100 miles for the week.
    I hate this.

And then I think back over the years to this same time of year.
We should be getting our bonus on next weeks pay check, and I remember always having a very short week on that pay check. I have always been glad of the bonus, otherwise I would have near zero for that check.

blsqueak, you actually give ratings using the Voice our Choice app?
You've now seen a result when they don't like how you rate them. Have you ever seen anything positive from it?
