With all the frac haulers still cutting my grain rates I'd say probably not.
Lepton1, rabbiporkchop and chuy Thank this. -
Nope... I see a lot of trucks and sand haulers for sale in Texas right now. Till gasoline is up above 3.50 I wouldn't jump.
rabbiporkchop and chuy Thank this. -
In the bakken rates are TERRIBLE. I would pass.

Right now is possibly the worst time in history to get into the oilfield. Be patient, it will come back in the next few years.
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -

Am I the only one that actually laughs out loud whenever I see one of these threads about getting a job in the oilfield right now?
rabbiporkchop, insertnamehere and plater1 Thank this. -
Nope laugh every time I see one.

Totally agree with opinions. Still here but not in a truck and it's a virtual ghost town. Nobody is paying their bills either. Jump from vendor to vendor and burn up credit. They will be paid ...eventually but not any time soon.
We have quashed sand and frac rates plus oil and water rates on what work we cant cut out but we are doing basically nothing overall. I expect my walking papers any minute.
If you can afford it......now is a great time to buy and rig up for the next round. ( using cash only )
