Hello all I just encountered a problem. Picked up a 2 stop load and they went home right after I was loaded so I can't go back and have them reorganize it and they won't be back in until monday.
The load is due in odessa, tx from atlanta, ga on monday. My weight is not bad just that its heavier on the rear which means to scale out I had to move the tandems to the rear.
So my question is can I get away with it running interstate through alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana or will I have to run back roads or wait until monday? Sure is a pickle here.
Question about bridge laws.

Here is a website that lists kingpin length by state. Note, Alabama only applies to trailers over 53'.
http://www.bigtruckguide.com/kingpin-to-rear-axle/bigguns Thanks this. -
So none specified means theres no worry about being ticketed in those states?
-
That is correct. How long are you?
-
Better question is what are your axle weights?
Wheeler0811 Thanks this. -

Set the trailer to 34K and roll. Run it at night and avoid a closer look.

So what are your axle weights ?
